Lake Burton is a popular boating and fishing destination known for it's scenic mountain views from the water. Our cabin is less than .05 mile from the Murray Cove boat ramp and 15 minutes form LaPrade's Marina and Moccasin Creek State Park where you can rent boats, paddleboards and kayaks to get out on the water. Hiking more your thing? You'll love our central location to some of the best hiking and waterfalls in Northeast Georgia. Whether you're looking to get out on the trails for the day or just a short trip, there are options for everyone. Make sure to add Black Rock State Park, Rabun Bald and Hemlock Falls to your list.
For those interested in checking out the Georgia Wine Highway we are centrally located to tons of great wineries and only 10 minutes to Stonewall Creek Winery. Ready to head into town and do some shopping? Just 12 minutes via paved roads and highway you'll find one of Southern Living's recommended stops - Clayton, Georiga. Downtown is full of charming shops with everything from clothing to hiking gear, specialty chocolates and our personal favorite store, Wander. Definitley one not to miss.
The cabin has 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths with an additional loft and two porches. We can accommodate 6 adults. The porches are high and there is a steep drop, please keep that in mind if you’re traveling with toddlers.
The main level has a living room with gas fireplace, large tv and fully-stocked kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en-suite), laundry room w/ washer and dryer.
The bottom floor is the master suite with full bathroom and its own porch with hot tub.
Top/third floor is the loft which is set up as a game room space and has a large tv, retro Nintendo gaming system, board games, foosball table and giant bean bag.

Keypad front door access. Parking for 2-3 vehicles. Paved roads and driveway with a small gravel drive just before the house. 4-wheel drive not required unless snowing.
Coffee - Keurig style, regular drip pot and French press.
Hair dryers in each bathroom.
Kitchen stocked with pots, pans, blender, toaster, mixing bowls, all styles of glassware, and more.
